We are proud to share that Textile Trail Research Assistant Tinaye Gibbons has been accepted to present a poster at the Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference! This year, Tinaye continues research of Carrollton's textile industry through the use of Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps and, now, Davison's Textile Blue Books. Tinaye hopes to understand how Carrollton's cotton and hosiery industries thrived or declined in comparison to regional and national socio-economic trends. Great work being done by an undergraduate History student and the Honors College Freshman of the Year 2017-8!
