Northern Region

The northern section of the West Georgia Textile Trail covers the region from the foothills of Polk County to the mountains of north Georgia.  Dalton serves as the northern hub of the Trail.

Central Region

The Central Trail extends along U.S. Highway 27 and the roads paralleling the railroad lines, such as U.S. Highways 78, 29, and 27 Alternate. This section includes Carroll and Haralson Counties along the Alabama border and Coweta, Douglas, and Paulding Counties to the east.

Southern Region

Columbus anchors the southern end of the West Georgia Textile Heritage Trail, which follows the Chattahoochee River and U.S. Highway 27. The Trail follows the historical development of the industry east to LaGrange, Hogansville, Manchester, and Thomaston.
